About the role

Job Summary Lead and coordinate daily operations in a food and beverage processing environment to ensure efficient production, quality, and safety. Supervise production staff, monitor compliance with food safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to meet daily output targets and quality standards. Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures. Schedule workforce, assign tasks, and manage attendance and shift coverage. Train, coach, and evaluate production staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues. Inspect equipment and production processes, report maintenance needs, and liaise with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Maintain production records, prepare performance reports, and communicate operational status to management. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in food technology, production, or a related field considered an asset. Minimum two years of experience in food or beverage processing, including supervisory or lead-hand responsibilities. Working knowledge of food safety systems and sanitation practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. Availability to work shifts and overtime as required, and ability to perform physical duties such as standing for extended periods and occasional lifting. Proficiency with basic computer applications and production tracking or inventory systems, and ability to maintain accurate records.
