Built with tradespeople in mind, PlanHub is designed around the user workflow to help boost productivity, maintain deadlines, increase revenue, and create relationships. Easily post projects or submit bids with anytime-anywhere collaboration for every commercial construction trade.

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our full-stack engineering teams as we build the next generation of our platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who leads with clarity, builds strong teams, and knows how to ship great software, including harnessing AI to move faster and build smarter. If you're energized by ownership, continuous improvement, and delivering real product outcomes, we'd love to talk.

What you will be doing: Lead and grow a full-stack engineering pod, ensuring alignment with product goals and consistent, high-quality delivery. Deliver on roadmap plans, ensuring timely and on-quality milestones. You'll implement rapid and frequent shipping of functionality that delights customers and that supports OKRs. Champion the adoption of AI-powered developer tools, including Claude Code, across your teams, building a culture where engineers actively leverage AI to increase velocity and code quality. Partner closely with product and design to shape the roadmap, break down ambiguity, and drive execution from kickoff to launch. Own engineering health metrics like cycle time, deployment frequency, and incident response, and use them to make data-informed decisions and continuously raise the bar. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our SaaS platform running on AWS. Establish a strong code review culture and maintain high engineering standards across the full stack. Lead the team's contribution to AI-powered product features, collaborating with product and data stakeholders to thoughtfully integrate LLMs and AI capabilities into the platform. Mentor and invest in your engineers' growth, creating clear paths for advancement and a team culture people are proud to be part of. Oversee prioritization of bugs and tech debt, balancing stability with the pace of feature development. Communicate with transparency across engineering, product, and leadership, keeping everyone aligned without unnecessary process.

What you will need to be successful: 5+ years of engineering management experience, leading full-stack or multi-disciplinary teams. A track record of shipping high-quality SaaS products on AWS, with measurable improvements to team velocity and platform performance. Genuine enthusiasm for AI tooling. You stay current, you experiment, and you actively coach engineers on getting the most out of these tools. Experience shipping AI-powered product features (LLM integrations, intelligent automation, etc.) is a strong plus. Strong instincts for roadmap prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, and navigating trade-offs in a fast-moving environment. Fluency with modern engineering practices: CI/CD, agile delivery, observability, and a solid understanding of full-stack architecture. A coaching mindset. You give direct feedback, set high expectations, and genuinely invest in the people on your team. Excellent communication skills. You can translate technical context for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

What's in it for you: The opportunity to join PlanHub, named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, marking our fifth consecutive year on the list—a testament to sustained growth and momentum.
