The Opportunity We are seeking individuals who bring diverse experiences to help us grow our capabilities at Roche and make a collective difference for patients. As a Medical Science Partner - Ophthamology, you will play a meaningful role in demonstrating your scientific expertise to integrate these solutions into the healthcare system for both present and future needs.
- Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate scientific/medical exchange on the latest advancements, acting as a trusted partner.
- Collecting, analyzing, sharing, and integrating insights into the integrated strategy.
- Building the external scientific communication strategy as part of an integrated omnichannel approach and ensuring impactful execution.
- Contributing to the regional access strategy.
- Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of product, disease, and therapeutic areas, including Roche assets and the competitive landscape.
- Leading or contributing to evidence generation projects.
- Collaborating cross-functionally, emphasizing field engagement and leveraging the broader network.
- Ensuring ethical, scientific, and quality standards while safeguarding patients’ safety and Roche’s reputation.
Who You Are
- You hold a University Degree in a Science Based Program (PhD, MSc, MD, PharmD, Biomedical, allied Health)
- 7+ years of relevant experience in life sciences or health care system sector.
- In this position, you will be servicing customers across Canada, therefore a proficient level of English is required and French is required.
- You have a robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, medical affairs strategies and relevant processes (eg. GCP, PV, Industry Codes & Regulations).
- You have the ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from 15 to 30%. (Overnight travel - frequent).
Preferred:
- Ophthalmology experience is preferred.

- Développer une connaissance approfondie des produits, maladies et domaines thérapeutiques, tout en surveillant le paysage concurrentiel.
- Participer et diriger des projets de génération de preuves tout en collaborant de manière transversale et en mobilisant le réseau étendu.
- Garantir l’éthique, la qualité scientifique, la sécurité des patients et protéger la réputation de Roche.
Qui vous êtes
- Vous possédez un diplôme universitaire dans un programme scientifique (PhD, MSc, MD, PharmD, sciences biomédicales, sciences de santé connexe).
- Vous avez plus de 7 ans d'expérience pertinente dans les sciences de la vie ou le secteur du système de santé.
- Dans ce poste, vous serez amené à offrir vos services à des clients à travers le Canada. Ainsi, la maîtrise de l’anglais est requise et le français est obligatoire.
- Vous avez une solide compréhension du développement pharmaceutique, des stratégies des affaires médicales et des processus correspondants (par exemple : BPC, PV, codes et réglementations industriels).
- Vous êtes disposé(e) à voyager en fonction des besoins de l’entreprise, ce qui peut représenter entre 15 % et 30 % des déplacements (voyages avec nuitées fréquents).
Préférence: Une expérience en ophtalmologie est fortement souhaitée.
