About the role

A leading global payments technology provider is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to join its growing commercial team. The business delivers enterprise payment gateway and commerce technology used by many of the world's largest retailers, hospitality brands, financial institutions, and multinational enterprises. This is a true hunter role, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, selling complex payment gateway and commerce solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers. Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle from self-generated pipeline through contract negotiation and close Sell enterprise payment gateway and commerce technology to large, multi-location organizations Lead complex, consultative sales engagements involving business and technical stakeholders Manage RFPs, commercial proposals, and ROI discussions Partner with internal product, solutions engineering, and implementation teams Work alongside strategic partners including ISVs, acquirers, payment providers, and financial institutions Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management Requirements 5+ years' experience selling payment gateway, payment processing, or enterprise payments technology solutions Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchants, acquirers, processors, ISVs, and payment integrations Proven success selling complex enterprise SaaS or FinTech solutions Experience selling into large, multi-location enterprise organizations Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and close consultative, multi-stakeholder deals Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Willingness to travel as required Opportunity Join a rapidly growing global payments technology business Sell market-leading payment gateway solutions into enterprise customers Significant earning potential with strong career progression opportunities
