About the role

Position: Sales Coordinator (Part-Time Contract – May 1-September 7, 2026)

Facility: Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada Reports to: Director of Sales, Marketing & Events

Job Purpose: The Part-Time Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Team in achieving sales objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining business communications, managing booking details and correspondence, contracts, preparing files, scheduling, preparing presentations, processing payment, and administrative duties. The Part-Time Sales Coordinator will provide key support to the Sales Team and Client before, during, and after the booking. This is an instrumental role in the success of the organization and an exciting opportunity to work at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada.

Please remember that due to the nature of our business, we work when others play in an attraction that is open 365 days of the year! You will be expected to be regularly available to work any shift during, before or after these hours of operation. This role is typically 1-2 shifts which would include 1 weekend shift minimum. Opportunity to increase shifts during peak season May – early September.

Critical Accountabilities:

  • Welcome, direct and facilitate group arrivals to ensure smooth entry into the building
  • Manage sales bookings, including correspondence, communication, scheduling, and billing
  • Provide key support to Sales Team before, during, and after booking
  • Represents Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada when welcoming guests
  • Relationship Management to establish and build healthy working relationships with clients

Special Skills and Requirements:

  • Customer Service is number one priority
  • Sales experience preferably in tourism hospitality or entertainment sectors a plus.
  • Experience with Siriusware or other attractions ticketing systems preferred plus Microsoft Excel.
  • Goal-oriented, articulate, creative, friendly, and outgoing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, team oriented and motivated.
  • Team player with a passion for your work in a serene and playful environment where we balance the Guest Experience with the Employee Experience and the wellbeing of our animal life.
  • This position may require local travel

Pay Rate: $20.75/hourly
