Full Stack Developer (PHP and React)

Type: Contract

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a contract Senior Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of modern web application development from end to end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to build high-impact features that power financial automation and data-driven workflows.

You will work on advanced data modeling, scalable architecture, and high performance services. The team is driving major feature releases on tight timelines, so I need someone who writes clean, reliable code, communicates clearly, and consistently delivers.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Product and senior engineers to clarify requirements and produce clear technical designs

• Collaborate with distributed teams to build systems optimized for scale, reliability, and maintainability

• Develop clean, well-organized, well-tested code across the full stack

• Participate in thoughtful code reviews to maintain quality and consistency

• Help evaluate and adopt frameworks, libraries, and tools that improve delivery speed and software quality

• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement across the team

• Own your commitments and deliver features on time with high accountability

• Follow observability standards so applications are easy to support and troubleshoot

What You Bring

• Strong experience developing full-stack web applications with a focus on PHP and related tooling

• Solid frontend skills using React, TypeScript, and CSS , including work with design systems and reusable components

• Experience working with complex, integrated systems and external dependencies

• Deep understanding of web services and APIs (REST or GraphQL)

• Hands-on experience with Doctrine or similar ORM frameworks

• Ability to collaborate on high-level architecture with senior engineers and architects

• Strong grasp of software design patterns and clean coding principles

• Practical experience with Linux, Git, and Docker in development and deployment workflows

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS

• Clear, confident communication around technical concepts

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack development experience
