About the role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Warehouse. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Tasks: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Pick orders and stock. Make labels and attach to goods. Wrap goods. Pack and unpack goods. Sort, crate and stack goods. Install, lash and secure goods. Store cargo and materials. Transport and distribute materials and goods. Organize and maintain inventory. Vehicle and equipment experience: Light trucks. Loader. Security and safety: Bondable. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves.
