Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, professional, and adaptable Concierge to be the welcoming face of our independent seniors living community. This casual part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet residents, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Monitor building access and ensure a secure environment
- Assist residents with requests such as booking transportation, coordinating deliveries, or providing general information
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Support emergency response procedures and communicate effectively with staff during incidents
- Be adaptable to the changing needs of the community and team, assisting with various tasks as required
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and scheduling
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all residents and guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced or emergency situation
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Empathy and patience when working with seniors
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions:
