About the role
The Intern - IT Analyst will support the Core Technology & Planning team by completing small technology, data, workflow, and documentation projects that help improve enterprise IT capabilities, which are managed, adopted, and supported across Danaher. This role will work on practical assignments involving tools such as Asana, LeanIX, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and other technologies as needed.
This position reports to the Vice President, Core Technology & Planning, and is part of the Danaher Corporate IT team and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Support configuration, cleanup, and enhancement activities in enterprise technology platforms such as Asana, LeanIX, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
- Assist with small technology projects by gathering requirements, organizing work items, testing configurations, documenting outcomes, and helping ensure deliverables are completed accurately.
- Build or improve simple workflows, dashboards, lists, forms, reports, and collaboration spaces that help teams manage work, information, and technology processes more effectively.
- Help maintain technology documentation, including process guides, application records, standards, inventories, user instructions, and other materials used by IT teams and stakeholders.
- Partner with members of the Core Technology & Planning team and other IT stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, complete assigned tasks, and communicate progress clearly.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience completing coursework, projects, internships, co-op assignments, or work activities involving business technology, data, process improvement, application configuration, or digital collaboration tools.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using or learning Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Lists, Forms, or related collaboration and automation tools.
- Ability to work legally in the country where the role is located for the duration of the summer student assignment.
