The location in West Carrollton, (Ohio, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of General Labor/Production Associates. This job is full-time permanent.
Entry level production positions available. Individuals in these positions may be assigned to various departments based on operational needs. These assignments follow a rotating 8 hour Southern swing shift schedule. Candidates for these positions will need to:
- Understand the importance of always working safely
- Be driven to achieve and advance
- Work swing shifts (includes all shifts, most weekends and holidays)
- Be available as needed for overtime
- Have mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude to learn quickly
- Must have forklift experience
- Work well both as an individual and as part of a team
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Following written or electronic standard operating procedures and instructions
- Adhere to all safety policies and requirements while working and operating equipment
- Operate necessary equipment which may include:
- Mobile equipment
- Overheard cranes
- Winding and slitting equipment
- Coating processing & coating application equipment
- Packaging equipment
- Working as part of a team to help everyone succeed
What we are looking for
- Previous manufacturing, forklift experience and prior shift work experience is preferred
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work 8, 10, or 12 hours shifts including weekends and Holidays
- Basic math, reading comprehension, writing, mechanical aptitude and computer skills are a must
The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour with eligibility for shift differential. After 90 days, payrate goes to $25.37/hour or $26.34/hour depending upon the job you're qualified for. Holiday hours worked are paid at double-time, and shift differential is paid on 2nd and 3rd shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, prescription, life insurance, paid holidays and an opportunity to participate in the 401(k) and retirement saving plans. One week vacation after 6 months; 2 weeks of vacation after 1 year.
You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
