A Little About Us
ISL’s Proposal/Production Team supports all offices and all disciplines of business at ISL. Our objectives are to increase the organization’s win rate, while delivering quality, creative and compliant proposals.

ISL’s Proposal Team thrives on tight deadlines, adding the final polish that helps us win exciting projects in transportation, municipal infrastructure, land development, water, environment, structures, landscape architecture, and community engagement. A Little About You
- You thrive in fast paced work environments with competing deadlines.
- You are confident with your InDesign skills to build proposals that will win ISL work
- You are a relationship builder who is easily able to influence what is needed from a variety of Project Managers.
- You want to help ISL be a top three in the market by advancing our capability to successfully compete on RFP’s across BC, AB, Yukon and Saskatchewan.
- You seamlessly integrate into diverse proposal teams, adapting your communication style to collaborate effectively across a range of personalities and workflows.
- You have a strong grasp of both the business and client needs which allows you to translate complex technical language into compelling, client-focused proposals.
- You are confident taking initiative to identify and resolve challenges independently.
Your application should show us:
- 3+ years of experience in proposal coordination where multiple partners and clients were involved
- Post secondary education in a relevant field, and/or relevant work experience with proposal submissions
- Experience and fluency working with Adobe InDesign to produce proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam for formatting and assembling proposal content.
- An indication of the scope and magnitude of Proposals you have worked on coordinating.
- Experience coordinating information needed for multiple proposals with varying complexity.
- Knowledgeable of the RFP process and proposal lifecycle. Understanding of municipal RFP processes is a definite asset.
- Curiosity with an ability to ask the right questions in a timely manner to successfully get results
- Experience in an AEC related industry would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
While no two days will look the same, here is what you can expect to do:
- Support a collaborative team that produces winning proposals across all ISL offices and disciplines.
- Help coordinate proposal efforts by working with internal contributors at all levels and supporting responses to a range of RFX processes.
- Manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment and help drive proposal schedules and deliverables.
- Contribute practical, strategic, and creative ideas that support business development opportunities.
- Use strong communication and relationship building skills to gather required inputs from project managers and technical teams.
- Integrate smoothly into diverse proposal teams and adapt communication styles to different personalities and workflows.
- Support ISL’s competitive positioning across BC, Alberta, Yukon, and Saskatchewan.
- Translate technical information into clear, client focused proposal content.
