As an Application Analyst with Enterprise Support Systems (ESS), you will be an important link between The City's various business units and Information Technology (IT) as the first point of contact for all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Primary duties include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of issues and problems across ERP production applications including: Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM - PeopleSoft HR Help Desk), and PeopleSoft Interaction HUB (myHRconnect).
- Collaborate with both internal staff and contracted resources to analyze and resolve technical issues to restore application services including quality assurance, testing and documentation.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance tasks including daily monitoring, reporting, year-end support, patches and bundles as required.
Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Management or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with FSCM and HCM is required.
- Experience in PeopleSoft FSCM specifically in overall configuration of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules is required.
- Experience in PeopleSoft HCM specifically in Payroll, Benefits and Recruiting modules will be considered assets.
- Experience with related business processes, ERP application support, reporting tools, application systems life cycle awareness, and business process analysis will be considered assets.
- Working knowledge of CRM and the PeopleSoft Interaction HUB would be an asset.
- You have proven analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly and independently, with the ability to plan and manage tasks.
- Demonstrated customer focus and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Pre-employment Requirements
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
Workstyle: This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. These arrangements depend on the operational requirements of the role, employee suitability, and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.

Compensation: Pay Grade 12 $48.54 - 64.88 per hour (2026 Rates)
Out of Schedule rates: $60.30 - 73.26 per hour (2026 Rates).
This position is presently paid at an Out-of-Schedule rate
to reflect current market conditions. Should market
conditions change, the salary may be reviewed and may
revert to the base rate.
Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day
work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
