We are actively recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Technician for our Elliot Lake operations. This position is a contract position, with the potential to become a permanent role in the future.
Technical
- Data entry of all shipping, receiving, branch transfers, unplanned work order issues, bin location movements and work order pick lists.
- Generate various reports on BOMs to pull parts, issuing against M/O’s as per planner.
- Pull available parts and allocate them in SAGE to the work order.
- Prepare and deliver to designated area at scheduled time.
- Receive all product from the shop & vendors and close all M/O’s.
- Generate all packing slips and BOM documentation and prepare order for shipment.
- Organize shipping/transportation of completed M/Os, completing and filing of waybills, customs brokers to ensure proper documentation is filed to ensure accurate invoicing, and other shipping information as needed.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory count of scheduled items, review and report any discrepancies with inventory control.
Qualifications
- College Diploma in logistics or equivalent
- Ability to effectively work within fairly complex, fast-moving work environment under minimal supervision.
- 3 years minimum related warehousing experience with shipping/receiving
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Computer literacy in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Willingness to learn
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
