What you’ll get to do
Additive Manufacturing
- Support the ongoing development of 3D printing best-practice guidelines.
- Assess manufacturing feasibility and prepare quotes for customer 3D printing, scanning, and design requirements.
- Process incoming purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze and modify CAD data to support part printability, structural integrity, and optimized print orientation.
- Clean, inspect, measure, and validate 3D-printed parts for dimensional accuracy, fit, and function
- Complete quality reports and related documentation as required.
Spare Parts
- Provide timely, professional customer support while building strong client relationships and identifying business opportunities to support monthly spare parts sales objectives.
- Collaborate with Procurement to maintain accurate inventory data.
- Liaise with internal departments to reduce inventory through the sale of excess or obsolete items.
- Work with outside service providers to determine certification costs.
- Maintain key databases, including price lists, approved supplier lists, CRM records, and historical purchase data in SAP.
- Process incoming purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare reports related to sales generation, site visits, and customer communications.
What we are looking for
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience in 3D printing, including a strong understanding of 3D printing capabilities and limitations
- Ability to interpret and work from 2D engineering drawings
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Experience with industry-standard CAD software.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of 3D scanning, data acquisition, point-cloud manipulation, and creation water-tight models
- Ability to define, utilize, and process mechanical design data
- Understanding of equipment lifecycle cost, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTBE (Mean Time Between Event), and equipment availability is considered an asset

- Travel: Must have valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

The expected annual compensation for this position is $70,000.00 – $85,000.00**.** Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
