Job#: 2076191 Job Description: C# Developer Client: Big 5 Bank

Location: Downtown Toronto. Hybrid: Thursdays in office and every 4 th Friday

Duration of Contract/Perm: 6 months contract with multiple extensions available

Hours/week: 37.5 hrs/wk. 9-5 PM, M-F Start date: June 2025

Job Overview We are seeking a Developer with 7+ years of experience in C#, Azure, and data integration to design, develop, and implement scalable applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in Azure PaaS services, data ingestion, and front-end development. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, capable of working independently, and comfortable in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, Azure Functions, and Entity Framework.
  • Load and transform datasets from various sources using C# and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Design and implement secure, well-structured database schemas in Azure SQL.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise.
  • Develop front-end components using Angular 11+.
  • Generate documents using Aspose PDF and Aspose Cells libraries.
  • Deploy and manage Azure PaaS resources including Azure SQL and App Services.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on development experience with:
  • C#, Entity Framework, Azure Functions, Azure SQL.
  • Azure PaaS services and deployment practices.
  • Angular 11+ and modern front-end development.
  • Aspose PDF and Aspose Cells for document generation.
  • Experience with data ingestion and transformation using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Strong understanding of database schema design and security permissions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in secure, locked-down Windows environments.
  • Background in the Financial Services industry is a strong asset.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
