Description First Year Apprentice Automotive Mechanic SOUTHLAND Transportation has a current opening for a First Year Apprentice Automotive Mechanic based in Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities The Apprentice Mechanic will work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some overtime as required. This position is not confined to shop activities as the Apprentice may be required to perform field work on down buses in city limits and some rural areas.

  • Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
  • Respond to breakdowns
  • Spring and winter maintenance

Requirements

  • First Year Apprentice Mechanic - Automotive or Heavy-Duty
  • Clear criminal record
  • Own hand tools
