$32.00 / hour Vacancy pending. This is a year-round, full-time career opportunity with benefits in the Canada's Wonderland Maintenance Department.

CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual who is able to multi-task and provide excellent customer service. Proven experience sourcing and purchasing in a maintenance environment.

SCOPE OF POSITION In conjunction with the Foreperson, assist with all aspects of purchasing, Park Stores operations, inventory procedures and controls for the maintenance division.

  • Ensure inventory tracking administration/communication is completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with orders, receiving and administration while maintaining all related records and files
  • Assist with training and supervising seasonal team
  • Coordinate Park Stores operations and ensure the safe operation of work area(s)
  • Ensure inventory levels are communicated effectively to the team
  • Maintain all required records and log-sheets for inventory levels inventory counts and logistics as required
  • Follow up with suppliers on deliveries and pricing as required
  • Performing physical counts as needed
  • Oversee inventory control forms are accurately tracked and reported
  • Prior experience in a related field
  • General knowledge of maintenance/hardware supplies and parts is essential
  • Proven ability to sourcing, price, purchase and process orders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to provide excellance in customer service
  • Must be self motivated, accurate and work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license (driver’s abstract may be required)
  • Forklift experience an asset
  • Willing to obtain a forklift operator’s license
  • Strong computer skills with Word and Excel
  • Experience with Maximo an asset
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required
  • Required to meet the physical demands of the job including weights of up to 50 lbs., frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crouching and ability to work with ladders
  • Parts Technician 240P certification an asset
