About the role
The Inbound Supply Coordinator is primarily responsible for placing orders with suppliers and ensuring their follow up and reception. The incumbent must be driven to build his or her reputation in the field of purchasing and, intellectually curious, be eager to learn from an experienced team in full expansion.
Assigned Responsibilities
- Organize stock transfer / redirection between various warehouses;
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues-errors at reception, supplier returns, backorders;
- Ensure that tickets submitted by Operations team are closed in a timely manner;
- Ensure that ASNs are released before loads arrive in various DCS across the country;
- Analysis of incoming loads for a possibility of redirection in reference to forecast and warehouse capacity;
- Uses MRP (SAP) and other IT Systems (SYSAID, Outlook, Excel, etc);
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, as required in a business culture.
