Job Summary
The Student Recruitment and Admissions Representative is responsible for providing information and support to prospective students and their families regarding the admissions process, programs, and services offered by the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM).
Main Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students and their families via phone, email, and in-person.
- Conduct presentations and information sessions about UTM programs and the admissions process.
- Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events and activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely information is provided.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UTM programs, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a recruitment or admissions role.
- Knowledge of the University of Toronto and its programs.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
Other Relevant Details
- This position may require occasional evening and weekend work.
