Prep Cook/ Kitchen Helper
Looking for Kitchen helpers with availability to join our team here at Boston Pizza Antigonish.
Hoping for someone organized and efficient that can complete prep and dough duties in a timely manner. Willing to work with others to maintain a safe and clean environment.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Full training is provided. Opportunity for wage increase as experience is gained.

What does a successful Kitchen Helper look like?

Be able to complete prep and dough duties.

Ensure that all products received via delivery meet Boston Pizza specification. Prepare and follow a daily prep sheet to indicate levels on hand and amounts required.

Clean and organize the kitchen at all times. Follow all required checklists and cleaning schedules during and following his/her shift.

Assure the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment; identify equipment needs for food preparation and service.

Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products.

Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant.

Load, run and unload dish machine

Be able to perform efficiently during high volume periods, with the ability to multi-task

Co-operation, Maintain a positive attitude and promote a teamwork environment are all essential. The kitchen helper will perform other such tasks that may be required from time to time.

The employee must follow hygiene policies at all times,

The employee must arrive 15 minutes prior to start of shift. Other duties as required.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 CAD Hourly
