About the role

Overview

JD Sign Group is seeking a high-performing, results-oriented B2B Sales Executive with a true hunter mentality to drive aggressive new business acquisition across North America. This role is laser-focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities with mid- to large-sized enterprises. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at engaging executive-level stakeholders, and delivers tailored signage solutions that elevate brand presence and operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Proactively identify and pursue high-value prospects through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic targeting.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers (Directors, VPs, C-suite) to position JD Sign Group as a trusted signage partner.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools, consistently driving activity to exceed sales targets.

Strategic & Consultative Selling

  • Uncover client pain points and business objectives to craft customized signage solutions aligned with branding, architectural, and operational goals.
  • Lead high-impact sales conversations, guiding stakeholders through complex buying decisions with confidence and clarity.

Proposal & Presentation Excellence

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals that reflect client needs and strategic value.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations that showcase JD Sign Group’s capabilities and long-term value proposition.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs from sales to delivery, maintaining accountability and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Intelligence & Visibility

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in signage, construction, and design to inform sales strategy and positioning.
  • Represent JD Sign Group at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums to expand brand visibility and prospect base.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience in signage, architectural elements, construction finishing trades, or trade show fabrication.
  • Proven track record of exceeding national sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling large-scale, implementation-based services across a national footprint.
  • Strong network of enterprise contacts or history of national client wins.
  • 1+ year of experience in signage, graphics, or display solutions preferred.
