About the role
As an Automation Test Analyst , you will design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and BDD Cucumber to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible to create and execute test scripts, identify bugs, and collaborate with development teams to improve software quality for our banking clients.
In this role, you will
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java TestNG and Selenium.
- Design test automation scripts for UI, Web Services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
- Overall 5-7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing experience.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on automation experience using Java, Selenium, Junit, TestNG, Maven, BDD Cucumber framework.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on API Automation with Postman and REST Assured.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and test lifecycle management.
- Experience with GitHub, SVN or GIT.
- Experience on CI CD and Jenkins.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
- Experience in the banking domain is a plus.
- Experience with Test and defect management tools (e.g. JIRA, Gitlab)
