Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: General office. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and other computer technicians. Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services. Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Recruit staff. Review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements . Supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel . Supervise staff. Train staff. Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services. Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. Manage incidents. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
