Job Description The HSS Digital Transformation Team is looking for a passionate, curious, detail-oriented Salesforce Senior Developer to join our growing information technology team. As a Salesforce Senior Developer you will operate in a stable, empowering environment to design and develop robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools. You’ll work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance CRM solutions that meet business requirements. You will have the opportunity to work on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Account Engagement, and Marketing Cloud initiatives. You will also participate in our AI / Agentforce / Data Cloud journey and help shape it from its early stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, LWC, Aura, and Visualforce
  • Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Customize standard Salesforce objects and develop custom objects, fields, workflows, and process automations
  • Participate in the design and implementation of integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirement for integration between the two systems
  • Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixes
  • Perform deployment activities using CI/CD tools
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices and coding standards
  • Document technical solutions, user stories, and design specifications
  • Daily administration and support of our Salesforce implementation including but not limited to: user setup, object / data model updates, process automations
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level Salesforce developers.
  • Assist in onboarding new developers by helping them understand project architecture and processes.
  • Provide L3 support for ongoing operational projects

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT Development with 4+ years as a Salesforce Developer
  • Proficiency in Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Hands-on experience with Conga Composer.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST, SOAP, Platform Events).
  • Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce configuration tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
  • Experience with Copado, Github / bitbucket or equivalent Devops tools
  • Experience working with logs and POSTMAN to perform basic troubleshooting of issues
  • Exposure to working with the Salesforce Mobile app
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is required
  • Experience in Copado, Github / bitbucket or equivalent Devops tools is required
  • Clear understanding of ITSM principles, certificate is beneficial
  • Salesforce design and architectural knowledge is beneficial
  • Agentforce and Vibes knowledge is beneficial
  • Clear and fluent communication skills in English
