Your Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and solutions-orientedHuman Resources Business Partner***(HRBP)*to join our HR team on a3-month temporary contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role based on business needs, budget and performance.
In this role, reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will partner closely with managers to provide guidance and support across a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns. You will support leaders across the organization with day-to-day people management, helping them navigate employee situations, apply policies and processes consistently, and build strong, effective teams.
You will also serve as a key resource for employees by responding to questions related to HR policies, programs, and workplace practices, ensuring they have clear and accurate information. This role plays an important part in promoting a positive employee experience while maintaining consistency and fairness in the application of policies.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys advising leaders, supporting employees with a variety of HR-related questions, and working in a fast-paced environment where thoughtful guidance and sound judgment are valued.
Your Impact

Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices

Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary action, and conflict resolution

Conduct HR investigations into workplace concerns, ensuring fair, thorough, and timely resolution

Prepare documentation and conduct termination meetings in partnership with leadership
-
Support the administration and oversight of employee leaves of absence and returns to work
-
Conduct exit interviews and provide insights and feedback to People and Culture Manager

Review and prepare offer letters and employment documentation
-
Support Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment related matters, including conducting pre-screens and reference checks

Maintain and track visa and work permit documentation to ensure compliance
-
Work within the HRIS system, Dayforce, to maintain accurate employee records and documentation
-
Partner with leaders to ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment standards are applied consistently

Provide general HR business partner support to managers and employees across the organization

Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and other HR operational activities as required
Qualifications
-
5-7 years of Human Resources experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner role
-
Strong experience supporting employee relations
-
Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
-
Experience managing or coordinating leaves of absence

Experience working with an HRIS system; Dayforce experience strongly preferred
-
Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism

Highly organized with strong documentation and follow-up skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities
