About the role

Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Ophthalmology locum throughout the year. We have out patient clinics in office three days a week, out patient minor surgeries one day a week and cataract surgeries one day a week. On-call coverage is 7 straight days. We provide care in clinic and/or at North Island Hospital - Comox Valley. We provide eye exams, diagnosis and care plans for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • On-call coverage for 7 straight days
  • Provide eye exams, diagnosis and care plans for all patients

Required Qualifications

  • Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
  • Hospital privileges required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Emergency experience desired
  • Surgical skills desired
