About the role
Position Overview:
This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until mid to late October, and the hours will vary weekly. Shifts are commonly on evenings and weekends, with a few full-day events scheduled.
Listed are some of the key responsibilities and duties required of a Bar Back:
- Responsible for providing product and supplies to Bartenders, stocking fridges, cleaning tables, running food and beverages when needed, and assisting with setup before doors and clean-up and end of event.
- Responsible for ensuring the assigned location is clean and organized.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and strenuous tasks in fast paced environment.
- Providing quality service by following organization standards.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Smart Serve to legally handle alcohol.
- Previous experience as a Bar Back considered an asset, however not required.
- Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends when needed.
pay rate: $18.25 per hour
