Reports to: Director of Facilities and Campus Improvement
Status: Part-time, temporary (0.50 FTE) Days to be determined by supervisor; hours 8:00PM to 4:00PM
Position Summary
The Summer Administrative Support Worker provides basic administrative support to the Director of Facilities & Campus Improvement, IT Manager and Maintenance Team. This is an entry-level role suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using technology (laptop) in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support

Use a laptop to assist with updating records, logs, and tracking systems for maintenance work

Support the organization and digitization of maintenance files and documentation
-
Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records for compliance and operational purposes
General Support

Assist with organizing inventories and documentation systems
-
Help maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
-
Provide general administrative assistance to the Facilities’ team as required

Participate in campus walkthroughs with Maintenance Technicians, the Director, and IT staff
-
Document maintenance needs, and follow-up items during walkthroughs

Help track and communicate identified issues to the appropriate team members

Support coordination of small projects and task follow-ups
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Skills, Attributes, and Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable using a laptop and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, email)

Ability to take clear, accurate notes and maintain records

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
