Overview

As a Delivery Driver at IMS, the main goal is the accurate, efficient, timely, and safe delivery of customer orders across the GTA.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cores Responsibilities:

• Complete frequent truck, load, and paperwork checks to ensure safety, security, and accuracy

• Manage routes and routines in the most efficient way possible

• Compliance with all government and in-house regulations and rules

• Adapt to changing conditions safely and efficiently

• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately

• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, observe and report any problems, damage, equipment or mechanical failures immediately

• Complete a minimum of two daily runs (departing from and returning to the warehouse)

• Helping to load and unload truck as required

• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and positively represent IMS

Mandatory Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 3-years of commercial driving

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Full G Class License

• Clean driving record and ability to produce a current driver’s abstract

Skills and Abilities

• The ability to lift 50lbs repetitively

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Sit and drive for long distances

• Problem solving skills

• Excellent customer service skills

Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
