About the role
Overview
As a Delivery Driver at IMS, the main goal is the accurate, efficient, timely, and safe delivery of customer orders across the GTA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cores Responsibilities:

Complete frequent truck, load, and paperwork checks to ensure safety, security, and accuracy
-
Manage routes and routines in the most efficient way possible
-
Compliance with all government and in-house regulations and rules
-
Adapt to changing conditions safely and efficiently
-
Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
-
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, observe and report any problems, damage, equipment or mechanical failures immediately
-
Complete a minimum of two daily runs (departing from and returning to the warehouse)
-
Helping to load and unload truck as required
-
Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
-
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and positively represent IMS
Other

Other duties as assigned
Mandatory Requirements
-
Years of Experience: Minimum of 3-years of commercial driving
-
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
-
Full G Class License
-
Clean driving record and ability to produce a current driver’s abstract
Skills and Abilities
-
The ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
-
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-
Sit and drive for long distances
-
Problem solving skills
-
Excellent customer service skills
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
