Position #: 157080 Expected Start Date: July 06, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Kerrobert & District Health Centre City/Town: Kerrobert Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.75 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 168 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: EMS Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non-emergency events. and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations; Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures and work standards. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational instituteLicenses- Valid Class 4 driver's licenseOther Education and Training- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)Competencies- Conflict resolution skills- Verbal communication skills- Basic - Computer skills- Written Communication Skills- Listening skills- Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.- Demonstrated ability to use sound clinical judgement- Decision making through the application of knowledge and critical thinking- Ability to operate emergency vehicles safely and effectively- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team- Able to safely and consistently...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
