GENERAL PRODUCTION EMPLOYEE

We’re looking for a Production Employee to join our EcoLogo-certified
facility located in Armstrong, British Columbia. Our Armstrong Lumber Division safely and sustainably produces 234 million board feet every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications
- Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physically demanding industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

In this role you will
- Work independently as part of a high-performance team dedicated to safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
- Perform a variety of labour duties to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
- Identify, analyze and troubleshoot problems that might arise in your area, and communicate with your Team Lead and Maintenance teams to get things back on track.
- Use your strong communication skills to work collaboratively across your team.
