What’s the position?
We’re hiring a Live Operations Specialist to pilot the end-to-end execution of live campaigns, events, offers, and merchandising, across mobile, social, and community channels. You’ll bridge gameplay, creative, CRM, data, and product to craft seamless, high-quality player experiences that drive retention, monetization, and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Calendar Execution
- Own the live-ops calendar: schedule daily deals, seasonal events, themed promotions, tournaments, and recurring features.
- Configure, approve, and launch offers (bundles, discounts, coupons) within campaign tools, prioritizing timing, design, copy, targeting, and testing.
- Oversee storefront merchandising (banners, carousels, featured collections) and remote configurations.
Content & QA Excellence
- Collaborate with copy, art, localization, and product design to produce campaign materials that speak to players with clarity, warmth, and excitement.
- Execute rigorous QA for every campaign fixture, from visuals and messaging to timers, transitions, and fallbacks—because every detail impacts player trust.
- Generate clear, concise QA documentation and release notes that support smooth, player-friendly campaign launches.
Multi-Channel Player Engagement
- Plan integrated campaign touchpoints: in-app messages, push notifications, social posts, and community announcements (e.g., FB Community).
- Synchronize messaging across channels for cohesive, emotionally intelligent activation.
Measure, Learn, Iterate
- Monitor KPIs (engagement, conversion, retention, ARPDAU, event performance) using dashboards and analytics tools—but always ask: what does this data say about how our players feel?
- Conduct rapid A/B tests or variants to refine offer timing, creative, and segment targeting.
- Share post-mortems and insights, informing roadmap decisions and elevating campaign performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Ops Stability
- Maintain live-ops workflows and documentation in Asana/Jira; drive alignment and deadlines across teams.
- Prepare launch checklists, rollback plans, and monitor live-ops performance; ready to troubleshoot issues during high-impact events with calm and player-first thinking.
- Support campaign launches during occasional early or late hours (weekends or evenings) on a rotating basis.
What we’re looking for
Must-have
- 2–4 years in Live Ops, CRM, monetization, or lifecycle roles, ideally in mobile free-to-play or social casino gaming.
- Proficient with campaign/offer configuration platforms (remote config, CMS, offer engine), task tracking tools (Asana/Jira), and analytical dashboards (Looker, Amplitude, Tableau).
- Meticulous attention to detail, flawless QA, checklists, and tidy campaign assets.
- Data-driven instincts: comfortable reading performance, drawing insights, and iterating fast.
- Strong collaborator: you can juggle cross-functional dependencies with clear communication.
- Player-centric writing skills, a clear, engaging voice.
- Eligibility to work in Canada; flexible for periodic off-hours campaign support.
Nice-to-have
- Background in social casino or similar economy-based games.
- A/B testing experience with segmentation and variant testing.
- Familiarity with push/in-app messaging systems or app-store consoles (iOS/Android).
- Base skill in SQL or scripting for quick performance validation.
