The Opportunity: This is your chance to join a team where your work truly makes an impact. Role Summary: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator is responsible for providing daily administrative support for the Operations department. This role will also greet and assist drivers with any inquiries.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Work Arrangement: On-site

Compensation: Salary Range: $38,000 - $45,000

Key Accountabilities: In this role, you will:

  • Create, audit and process Accounts Payables for department.

  • Ordering office supplies.

  • Data entry and reporting.

  • Answer and transfers phone calls in a timely and professional manner.

  • Greeting vendors entering the building accordingly and manages the register log.

  • Provides guests with the appropriate access badges and manages daily spreadsheets for tracking.

  • Organizes and files load paperwork as well as issues outgoing paperwork to drivers.

  • Distributes and documents of driver’s supplies.

  • Verifies and updates information in Yard Management System.

  • Assist drivers with directions and paperwork load information.

  • Following up with drivers to obtain missing information from trip jackets and aids in completing paperwork.

  • Provide support to the Customs team by sending required documentation to the Customs brokers in advance for clearance, as requested by Customer Service, using the Customs Paperwork folder.

  • Ensure all documentation is logged in the Customs software and TMW.

  • Send paperwork to the Customs brokers for pre-clearance for any loads staged in Cambridge.

  • Creates service incident reports for Customer Service when required.

  • Completes filing duties as necessary.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications We’re looking for someone who brings:

Education & Experience:

  • Secondary School diploma

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience

  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Experience in the transportation industry considered to be an asset
