POSITION SUMMARY

Plaza Auto Group is seeking a highly analytical Marketing Project Manager to lead the strategic coordination and implementation of multi-channel advertising initiatives across our 11-dealership corporate network. This is a specialized individual-contributor role focused on the technical execution of marketing projects. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical lead for corporate-wide campaigns, ensuring all 11 locations remain compliant with manufacturer (OEM) brand standards.

DUTIES

  • Plan and evaluate the effectiveness of digital lead generation programs, specifically focusing on the conversion of top-of-funnel marketing traffic into actionable business opportunities for the Autogroup.
  • Direct the technical management of the dealership’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to analyze consumer trends, buying habits, and the success rate of various marketing channels (Email, Social, SMS).
  • Develop and implement integrated communication strategies aimed at re-marketing to existing customers and Plaza Autogroup databases to drive repeat business.
  • Conduct research on local automotive market demographics and competitor pricing to develop promotion strategies that optimize vehicle inventory turnover.
  • Evaluate the organization's internet presence and social media engagement; manage the coordination of Call-To-Action campaigns to ensure marketing materials are generating high-quality inquiries.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Plaza Auto Group and manufacturer partners including Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Subaru, and Ram of Canada to ensure all marketing initiatives comply with National Brand Identity standards and co-op advertising requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the Marketing Director analyzing the overall effectiveness of specialized promotional events and digital advertising spend.
  • Design and develop promotional layout materials for customer-facing campaigns, including digital and print assets, ensuring brand consistency and OEM compliance.
  • Extract and analyze customer data from internal CRM and database systems to create targeted promotional campaigns and marketing communications.
  • Develop and implement internal marketing processes and service policies to streamline campaign execution and improve operational efficiency.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Education

A Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a related professional discipline is required.

Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive business development or marketing projects within a high-volume dealership environment is required. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in handling automotive leads, supporting dealership-level promotional campaigns, creating customer-facing materials, and implementing internal marketing processes to improve workflow and operational efficiency.

Technical & Specialized Skills

Proficient in automotive CRM systems, including CDK and PBS, for lead auditing and data extraction, with strong knowledge of OEM compliance, relational database management, and enterprise automation tools such as Google Workspace, Mailchimp, and Hootsuite. Background in graphic design and layout creation for customer-facing marketing materials, along with experience in implementing internal marketing workflows and service-related process improvements, is essential.
