About The Role PubMatic is a globally renowned, publicly traded advertising technology company, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Country Manager for Canada. This role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy in the Canadian market, with a strong focus on sales and revenue generation particularly in the demand side (agency holding companies, independent agencies, brands, curators). As the Country Manager, you will develop market strategies, forge key relationships within the industry, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the success of our programmatic solutions. What You'll Do
- Lead and execute the market strategy for Canada, based on market opportunity, customer needs, our product capabilities, and competitive differentiation.
- Work with the leadership team to define, achieve and exceed revenue and business goals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Drive sales growth, expand platform adoption, and identifying new business opportunities across the Canadian buyer ecosystem.
- Build and maintain high-value relationships, leveraging your industry expertise and existing relationship network to enhance engagement with buyers.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide ongoing client consultation, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize advertiser performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Ad Solutions, and Product Management to develop and execute strategic programs.
- Lead negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships with an emphasis in Supply Path Optimization (SPO) and buyer incentive programs.
- Champion PubMatic's thought leadership in the online advertising industry through press engagements and industry events.
- Actively identify, prioritize, and communicate product requirements to product and engineering teams, ensuring our local customers' needs are met.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aligned on strategic objectives.
Who You Are
- Senior Sales Professional: Ten plus years in sales or business development within digital advertising, preferably with a Publisher, AdTech platform, agency, DSP, or SSP.
- Deep Senior Level Relationships: Strong relationships across agencies and brands, with a proven ability to develop and expand strategic partnerships.
- Programmatic Advertising Expert: Deep understanding of programmatic buying models, including PMP, programmatic guaranteed, and auction-based solutions.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a creative problem-solving mindset. Ability to analyze campaign data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations that drive revenue growth.
- Strong Presenter & Negotiator: Skilled in crafting compelling presentations and confidently navigating complex deal negotiations.
- Adaptable & Agile: A proactive, solutions-driven professional with a start-up mindset and a track record of success who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Proven Revenue Driver: Demonstrated success in driving robust business growth, strategy and planning, market presence, particularly in emerging technologies that demand market education, thought leadership and consultative sales.

Compensation Disclosure In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
