About the Role:
Vitacore is seeking a Production Supervisor our Manufacturing & Recycling teams. This is a key hands-on leadership role supporting day-to-day production, team coordination, and continuous improvement across two fast-paced operational areas. Responsibilities include:

Production:

  • Assist in planning, managing and executing production operations
  • Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule.
  • Coordinate the communication flow between management and the team members.
  • Coordinate the maintenance plans with the team.
  • Optimize production operations to meet quality amd performance standards.
  • Support determining resource requirements and work allocation for production operation.
  • Support cost-optimization initiatives implementation.
  • Support KPIs implementation.

Quality:

  • Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations
  • Assist in documenting work instructions and procedures.

People:

  • Address employee concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
  • Assist with performance review, appraisals, and promotions for employees.

Safety:

  • Coorinate the Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Support updating safety measures and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets).
  • Hands on attitude.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical know-how of production machines for the effective operation.
  • Experience working in manufacturing in a managerial role is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment would be preferred.

Compensation:

  • $27-30 CAD per hour
  • Health & Dental benefits
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Work Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm - 4 days a week (flexibility required for different shifts)
