Business Systems & AI Specialist

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Business Systems & AI Specialist to serve as the organization's internal technology champion, bridging business operations, technology, and AI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and driving operational improvements. You'll work across all departments to enhance business systems, develop reporting, automate processes, implement AI solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the internal resource for business systems, Microsoft 365, ERP, Power Platform, and reporting tools. Act as the primary liaison between the business and external IT service providers. Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and other reporting tools. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using Power Automate and other low-code solutions. Evaluate, implement, and promote AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to improve productivity. Partner with department leaders to improve workflows and business processes. Coordinate software implementations, licensing, and vendor relationships. Train and support employees on business systems, reporting, automation, and AI technologies. Maintain documentation, data quality, and technology governance standards.

Qualifications

3-7 years of experience in Business Systems, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, IT, or a related field. Experience with Power BI and data visualization. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is an asset. Familiarity with ERP systems. Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook). Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

ERP implementation or optimization experience

API integrations Microsoft Azure SharePoint administration Business process mapping KPI development and data visualization AI workflow design Change management or technology adoption experience.
