About the role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Product Specialist – Refrigeration to support the performance of our refrigeration product portfolio in Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate has a strong background in refrigeration distribution, an understanding of inventory management issues, and the ability to influence Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. They will play a key role in bridging the gap between the needs of the market, sales, and purchasing departments. They will also contribute to product development, training, and sales support.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

  • Act as a technical and sales expert for assigned refrigeration products.
  • Collaborate in the development and management of the product roadmap.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external sales on key projects.
  • Participate in the technical validation of products and the development of selection tools.
  • Identify inventory needs based on sales forecasts, regional trends, and past performance.
  • Work closely with purchasing teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce slow-moving products.
  • Influence the S&OP process to ensure alignment between field demand and supply.
  • Actively participate in the training of internal teams and the creation of technical and sales content.
  • Maintain technological and competitive intelligence.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, purchasing, marketing, pricing, warranty, and e-commerce.
  • Participate in promotional initiatives and regional and national events.

What You Bring To Our Team

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration product distribution.
  • Technical diploma in building mechanics or bachelor's degree in mechanical/refrigeration engineering.
  • Good understanding of demand planning principles and the S&OP process.
  • Knowledge of inventory analysis tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools; Power BI is an asset.
  • Bilingualism required (French/English).
  • Frequent travel to the Eastern offices (Quebec and Atlantic Canada).
