Senior SEO Strategist

Position Summary:
Enspire for Enterprise is a digital marketing agency that provides solutions for franchise, multi-location, and enterprise businesses. Our approach, combined with our business intelligence platform, enables clients to unify, scale, and optimize their local and national marketing strategies.
We are seeking a Senior SEO Strategist to lead the development and execution of SEO strategies that drive organic growth for our clients. This role focuses on technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page authority building, and performance analysis while supporting both client strategy and new business initiatives.
The successful candidate will act as an SEO subject matter expert, working closely with Client Services, Digital Advertising, and Sales teams to identify growth opportunities, present strategic recommendations to corporate clients, and support SEO audits for prospective customers.
This role combines strategic thinking, client engagement, and hands-on execution to ensure SEO initiatives deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Optimization
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, search visibility, and lead generation.
- Conduct technical SEO audits to identify opportunities related to crawlability, indexing, site structure, and performance.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements, including metadata, internal linking, and content structure.
- Develop off-page SEO strategies to strengthen domain authority and improve organic rankings.
Client Strategy & Presentations
- Present SEO strategies, insights, and recommendations to corporate clients and franchise brands.
- Participate in client performance reviews and strategic discussions, providing clear SEO insights and recommendations.
- Partner with Client Services and Digital Advertising teams to align SEO with broader digital marketing strategies.
Sales Support & SEO Audits
- Conduct SEO audits for prospective clients to identify growth opportunities and competitive gaps.
- Support the Sales team with strategic insights and presentations during new business pitches.
- Translate technical SEO findings into clear, business-focused recommendations.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor SEO performance using analytics platforms and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SEO strategy or organic search marketing.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, off-page SEO, and keyword strategy.
- Experience working with multi-location or franchise brands is an asset.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Excel, Power BI, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):
The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$70,000.00 - CAD$80,000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
