The Opportunity

Join Firerock Lounge as a Full-Time Bartender and bring your passion for craft cocktails to one of Whistler’s favourite cocktail lounges.

We’re looking for a skilled, energetic bartender who delivers outstanding guest experiences, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to balance speed, accuracy, and hospitality. The ideal candidate has strong cocktail knowledge, great communication skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to connect with guests. What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven bartending experience with strong cocktail knowledge and confident technical skills.
  • Solid wine knowledge is a strong asset.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Exceptional customer service standards and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Clear, professional communication with both guests and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • 19+ years old with valid Serving It Right certification.
  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset, especially in cocktail-focused venues.

Your Days Will Look Like

  • Take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests.
  • Mix and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and guest preferences.
  • Process payments and accurately record sales.
  • Maintain and track bar inventory, restocking as needed.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware.
  • Follow all provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • Promote and sell Après Passes and TAG experiences to guests.
  • Perform closing duties, including cleaning, securing the bar, and ensuring all tasks are completed before leaving.
  • Other duties as reasonably directed.
