The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.41 f.t.e.) Temporary Educational Assistant at Lloyd Garrison School. This position will commence on August 27, 2025 and continue until June 26, 2026. The initial assignment will include Junior High classroom support.

Lloyd Garrison School is located in the town of Berwyn, approximately 11kms from the town of Grimshaw and 40 kms from Peace River. The school serves students from K to 12.

Qualifications:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent would be an asset Experience and/or training working with middle school aged children would be an asset

Skills:

• Ability to work with children with varying needs and abilities

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Ability to deliver given programming independently

• Ability to speak Low German is considered an asset but not required

Requirements:

• Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within six (6) months of your application.

Rate of Pay:

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
