Dexterra Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead maintenance projects with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical systems. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and design through execution and closeout—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Job Description Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end construction projects, including mechanical (HVAC, plumbing) and electrical scopes Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications Manage project financials, including forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders Support commissioning and handover processes Qualifications Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 5–10 years of project management experience in construction, with exposure to mechanical and electrical systems Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and building systems Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in Canada PMP designation or equivalent (considered an asset) Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) Additional Information WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
