Personal Lines Insurance Advisor

##What the day will look like
- Handle inbound client inquiries (phone and email) in a call‑center environment, providing clear information on personal insurance products and identifying sales opportunities.
- Assess client needs, recommend appropriate coverage, and provide ongoing service, including policy changes and regular coverage reviews.
- Proactively generate new business by recommending suitable products and services. Improve each interaction with effective up-selling and cross-selling to existing clients. Meet or exceed sales, retention, and service targets.
- Work with internal departments (e.g., claims, billing) to resolve client requests and concerns, handling issues within authority and raising complex cases when needed.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation, ensuring quality in correspondence, invoicing and related accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain strong knowledge of personal property and auto insurance products and supply to a positive team environment by sharing standard processes

##Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 3+ years’ experience in Home and Auto Personal Lines insurance with confirmed customer service success preferred
- Post-secondary diploma or degree or a combination of education and equivalent years is a definite asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize requests while maintaining a positive attitude
- High level of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to develop and deepen relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurer partners
- Valid provincial license is a requirement; relevant certifications such as CIP and CAIB are assets
- RIBO licensing or professional designations in (CIP, CAIB etc.) are an asset.
