About the role

Tasks

  • Install, replace, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including furnaces (oil, electric, natural gas), hot water boilers, heat pumps, central and ductless air conditioners, as well as oil tanks.
  • Perform startup, calibration, and performance testing of installed equipment.
  • Fabricate and adjust sheet metal transitions on-site or in the service vehicle to ensure safe and compliant installations.
  • Dismantle, remove, and recycle old oil systems, including boilers and tanks.
  • Replace and maintain HVAC accessories such as humidifiers, air purifiers, and air filters.
  • Strictly adhere to current installation codes and standards (e.g., B-149, B-139) and company policies.
  • Provide professional customer service by addressing technical questions about system operation and maintenance.
  • Accurately complete installation reports, compliance documents, and responsibly manage tools and the service vehicle.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Experience in HVAC system installation or general repairs.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and electronics.
  • Valid driver’s license.
