Job Description
Internship Overview: Brookfield Residential’ s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our projects and operations. This internship program is open to highly motivated and driven students who are eager to explore the development and residential real estate industry, gain practical experience, and make meaningful contributions to our team. The Summer Internship Program will begin on May 4, 2026 nd conclude on August 21, 2026, in office.
Overview:
The Junior Accountant Intern plays a key role in processing property tax bills for AB, preparing cash (recording deposits, bank reconciliations), accounts receivable (entries, follow-up, reporting, and forecasting) and the audit of payables and sales transactions.
What You'll Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a related field (e.g., Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, Business).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A keen interest in real estate and development.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
