Joining our team as a Program Manager is a unique opportunity to act as an intrapreneur, leading the execution of complex aerospace programs. You will have a 360-degree involvement at both strategic and operational levels, interfacing with customers, sales team, engineering and production, to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge technology projects—on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing program strategies that align with business objectives, monitor industry trends and adapt to changing market needs

  • Manage the full program lifecycle, from contract award through delivery and closeout, aligning with customer commitments and business objectives

  • Serve as the primary interface with customers and maintain strong relationships, managing expectations and translating them into actionable plans

  • Lead governance meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders

  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and identify opportunities

  • Track KPIs and financial metrics to monitor program finances and ensure cost-effectiveness with strong business mindset

  • Coach and develop junior program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance

  • Lead the creation of winning strategies for bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and competitive pricing

  • Travel up to 10-20% to interact with customers, represent CMC Electronics at industry events and foster business relationships

How to excel in this role:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, finances, engineering…)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the planning and execution of complex projects/programs
  • Negotiation, communication and leadership skills
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making
  • Bilingualism (French/English), oral and written.
  • Good knowledge of project/program tools like MS Project and Excel.
