About the role
As a Technical Product Owner, you will drive the product strategy, planning, and delivery of key capabilities for the product! You will define product goals, owns backlog, and ensure that each product delivers the maximum value to the user. You will represent and act as the voice of the customer/user!
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages the product backlog and work prioritization process.
- Leads agile teams to ensure that value is delivered to users.
- Drives the product strategy, planning, and delivery of key capabilities for the product.
- Assesses value, develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.
- Represents the customer perspective in crafting the product.
- Coordinates vendor delivery where majority of development activities are outsourced.
- Leads the ideation, develop, and planning of the product by crafting a product roadmap and vision.
- Monitors and generates reports on product important metrics.
- Defines roadmaps and detailed user stories, and partners with developers to enable delivery of prioritized features.
- Collaborates with Engineers and leadership to uncover problems and opportunities to expedite the delivery of new value through software.
- Ensures communication and delivery between Design & Engineer teams.
- Specifies and effectively communicates desired outcomes for current and future products.
- Mitigates roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals.
- Leads the product-release plans and sets expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
- Learns constantly, from both success and failure, and remains open to change/continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage through creative tension
- Good verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate product vision, possibilities, and outcomes
- Sufficient knowledge about the current technical stack and architectural constraints

Salary range is expected to be between
$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
