Step into the heart of excitement at Fort St. John (FSJ) Gaming Centre & Hotel, where every guest interaction is a chance to create memorable experiences. As a Server on our Food & Beverage Front of House Team, you’ll bring energy, adaptability, and outstanding service to every shift—across various dynamic venues, including our Restaurant, Casino Floor, Banquets, and our new Sportsbook.

In this role, you’ll be part of a cross-trained team ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences in multiple settings—a lively game-day crowd, a private banquet, or a busy dinner rush. This is the place for you if you thrive on variety, teamwork, and fast-paced environments.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, attentive service to all guests in the assigned F&B areas—restaurant, Banquets, Casino, and Sportsbook.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, and service standards across all venues.
  • Take and process guest orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Set up, serve, and tear down banquet functions with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Support Sportsbook operations with energy and guest engagement on busy event days.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment across all F&B outlets.
  • Handle transactions accurately, following all cash-handling and POS procedures.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and liquor service regulations (Serving It Right certification required).

What Experience Do You Need?

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but enthusiasm and a great attitude are most important.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with professionalism and composure.

  • Strong communication and guest service skills.

  • Serving It Right certification (required).

  • Willingness to cross-train and work in multiple venues as part of the overall F&B FOH team.
