Hexagon Metrology is seeking a Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes, providing world-class service, calibration, and support for our high-precision portable products. As part of our expanding team, you'll work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with industry leaders in Formula 1, aerospace, defence, and automotive sectors.
This is an on-site role based in Milton Keynes with no travelling required.
Job Responsibilities
- Service & Support: Deliver exceptional service and technical support for Hexagon Metrology’s portable hardware products, including calibration, repair, and maintenance of high-accuracy measuring equipment.
- Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Perform fault diagnosis down to the module level and provide detailed diagnostic reports, ensuring minimal downtime and top-tier performance for customers.
- ERP System Management: Maintain and update our ERP system (Servicemax) to track and manage service activities efficiently.
- Customer Communication: Act as a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring timely and effective communication around service progress, timelines, and resolutions.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow Hexagon Metrology's health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both you and your colleagues.
Qualifications
- Background in Engineering: Completed an engineering course (e.g., BTEC or formal apprenticeship) or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with high-value capital equipment, including electronics and mechanical systems, is desirable but not essential.
- Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK.
