About the Opportunity ECO Canada is recruiting on behalf of a small renewable energy and electrical services company serving residential and commercial clients. Position Overview ECO Canada is seeking a Designated Master Electrician to join its client’s team. Applications are also welcome from licensed 309A Electricians who are actively working toward obtaining their Master Electrician certification within the next 12 months.

This role includes leadership responsibilities, technical work, and involvement in renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, quality, and mentorship within the electrical operations.

Key Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance Work on residential and commercial wiring Work on solar (PV) and energy storage systems Support grid-tie and off-grid system installations Assist with roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar system installations Prepare estimates and support project planning Mentor and train apprentices Ensure all work meets safety regulations and electrical codes Support business development and client relationships Qualifications Required Hold a Master Electrician license OR be a licensed 309A Electrician working toward Master certification within 1 year Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and commitment to safety and environmental responsibility Comfortable working at heights Willing to follow a strict non-smoking policy on all job sites Able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional long days Able to lift up to 40 kg Comfortable working in indoor, outdoor, and remote environments, including limited-access sites Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team Strong communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, documentation) Willing to provide a criminal record check if requested Must own and carry a cell phone for work communication
